WAPUSH: The Campaign for an AP Women's U.S. History Course

The WAPUSH campaign for an AP U.S. Women's History class was founded by SHP teachers Kristen Kelly and Serene Williams. Current WAPUSH student leaders include SHP students Emily Xiao, Brooke Soderbery, Alondra Flores and Lucy Irvine. SHP alums who have been involved in the WAPUSH campaign include Kate Ragatz (primary student leader), Samantha Pyle, Shannon Bennitt, Coco Kling and Grace Fitzpatrick.

 

These LibGuide pages provide an overview of the WAPUSH course proposal written by SHP AP history teachers Serene Williams and Kristen Kelly. This course proposal has been peer reviewed and will be shared with the College Board after the WAPUSH team has finalized collecting the 350 letters of support required to pilot the course.
