WAPUSH: The Campaign for an AP Women's U.S. History Course

The WAPUSH campaign for an AP Women's U.S. History course was founded by SHP teachers Kristen Kelly and Serene Williams. Current WAPUSH student leaders include SHP students Emily Xiao, Brooke Soderbery, , Kaitlyn Ficker, Avery Chen, Anna Perone, Alondra Flores and Lucy Irvine. SHP alums who have been involved in the WAPUSH campaign include Kate Ragatz, Samantha Pyle, Shannon Bennitt, Coco Kling and Grace Fitzpatrick. This LibGuide provides an overview of the WAPUSH course proposal written by SHP history teachers Serene Williams and Kristen Kelly. This course proposal has been peer reviewed and will be shared with the College Board after the WAPUSH team has finalized collecting the 350 letters of support required to pilot the course.
